NBT EVENTS; NBT FEST 2026

Saturday 4th July 2026

10am - 3pm

Stall fees from £30+ discounts to CIC and Charities.

100% profit on the day, No percentage taken from sales.

NBT Fest is returning in 2026 following overwhelming demand from families, providers, and our community. After celebrating our 5th anniversary with our biggest event yet, families asked us to bring it back — and we’re now planning an even bigger, more inclusive festival. We’re looking for early years specialists, activity and class leaders, parent and pregnancy support services, wellbeing providers, creative children’s experiences, performers, family-focused businesses, makers, bakers, and food vendors, with plans for a dedicated area for older children to support attending families.

What is NBT Fest? NBT Fest is a community-run, not-for-profit outdoor festival designed for children aged 0–5, parents and parents-to-be, and families with older siblings, with dedicated spaces planned for different age groups. Built by the community, for the community, it runs on collaboration, passion, and local partnerships rather than government funding. We also proudly support a charity through the day, giving back to the community we serve.

Aims & What the Day Brings... Created by a small, passionate team, NBT Fest is a vibrant, family-centred festival designed to connect families with trusted local services and providers, promote wellbeing and early childhood development, support small businesses and community organisations, and create inclusive, welcoming spaces for all families.

The day combines live entertainment and stage sessions, interactive classes and demonstrations, free-flow play and sensory experiences, children’s rides and activity areas, creative craft and make-and-take activities, wellbeing and support services for parents, and food and family-friendly stalls. The focus is always on hands-on engagement, learning, connection, and meaningful experiences, with activities that are accessible, affordable, and community-led.

Why Get Involved & Provider Benefits... NBT Fest is more than a stall — it’s a community platform that promotes providers and their services. You’ll gain visibility across our website and socials, connect directly with local families, and build lasting relationships. With thousands of families attending and a targeted audience seeking activities and support, it offers meaningful engagement in a carefully curated, inclusive, and purpose-led festival for early years families. At this stage, we do not have external funding to cover fees or costs, so we’re seeking providers and partners who want to join a meaningful community event while gaining valuable exposure to local families and our wider network.

Little Splendours, Splendour Festival

12noon - 6pm, 18th-19th July,

Wollaton Park, Nottingham

We’re excited to be back looking after the Little Splendours Kids Area as part of Nottingham’s biggest music festival, Splendour. We have a dedicated budget to deliver a vibrant children’s area focused on free, accessible activities for ages 0–11, and we’re now inviting activity providers, play set-ups and entertainers to be part of it.

This is a high-footfall, high-visibility opportunity to engage with thousands of families in a lively outdoor festival setting. The area will centre around free-flow activities that children can explore throughout the day, including interactive play, creative experiences, movement, performance and hands-on engagement. We’re aiming to create a varied and balanced offer, so proposals should clearly outline your activity to help avoid duplication and ensure a wide range of experiences for families.

We’re particularly keen to hear from providers delivering sensory and play environments, creative workshops, music and movement, interactive sessions, walkabout entertainment and family engagement experiences suitable for mixed age groups.

Please submit a proposal outlining what you would deliver on the day, the age range your activity is suited to, your set-up and space requirements, staffing, examples or photos where possible, and your fees or package options.

Proposals must be submitted by 1st April with as much detail as possible. All submissions will be reviewed after the deadline, and confirmations will be sent via email in Mid April.

We’re building a dynamic, welcoming space where families can explore, play and take part in free activities all day, and we’d love you to be part of it.

Please note all activities are free to visitors, and we do not have spaces in this area for selling products, food or refreshments.
