What is NBT Fest?
NBT Fest 2025 is a vibrant, family-friendly mini festival hosted by the Nottingham Baby & Toddler Community to celebrate, support, and connect families with young children across our city.
Now in our fifth year, we’re marking this milestone with our biggest event yet — a joyful, inclusive day packed with fun, discovery, and support for families with children aged 0–5 years. This is more than just a day out — it’s a celebration of early years, parenthood, and the incredible local providers who make Nottingham a great place to grow up
Why Are We Doing It?
With continued funding cuts across Nottingham, community events like ours have never been more important. Early years matter — they shape a child’s lifelong health, wellbeing, and learning. And equally, supporting parents and carers through those crucial early years builds stronger, healthier families and communities.
NBT Fest brings together local organisations, early years services, activity providers, and support networks all in one place — offering a fun and welcoming day that also provides valuable access to trusted, local resources.
What’s Happening at NBT Fest 2025?
Expect a full day of fun, connection and entertainment including:

🎨 Interactive sessions like music, messy play, crafts & more
🏰 Soft play and imaginative role play zones
🧚 Meet & greet with favourite characters throughout the day
🌳 Outdoor forest play experiences to explore and enjoy

🎤 Live DJ and stage entertainment throughout the day
🍔 Food stalls, refreshments, and picnic areas
⚽ Sports zone for little ones to try something new
📸 Pop-up photographer capturing special family moments
🎠 Children’s rides and inflatables for extra excitement and adventure
🛍️ A variety of local stalls showcasing services, classes & family-friendly offers
❤️ Charity fundraising activities to support our local community
🎈 Activities for older siblings, so the whole family can enjoy the day

Tickets
Entry tickets are free, but you are welcome to make a kind community donation to support the running of the event and future activities. Everyone attending must have a ticket — from ages 0 to 100! This helps us manage capacity and safety.
Who Can Attend
The day is specially designed for babies and toddlers aged 0–5, but older siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and extended family are warmly welcome to join the fun.
All children and young people under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Likewise, adults must be accompanied by a child — this event is designed for families with children aged 0–5.
No dogs are allowed at the event, except for registered assistance dogs.
Parking & Travel Info
Entrance to NBT Fest is via Haydn Road. Limited on-road parking is available nearby, or you can arrive on foot through the Haydn Road entrance. Additional car parking is available at Pirates Play centre, 41 Rowley Drive, NG5 1GD. Pirates Play centre, 41 Rowley Drive, NG5 1GD. Please be mindful of residents and avoid blocking driveways.
Coming by bus? Hop on the NCT Brown Line (routes 15, 16 or 17) and get off at Teesdale Road – just a few minutes from the event entrance on Haydn Road!
Accessibility
The event is hosted in an accessible outdoor space suitable for prams, and all family needs.
Toilets and baby changing facilities will be available on-site.
Food & Drink
A selection of hot food and drink stalls will be available throughout the day.
You’re also welcome to bring your own picnic and enjoy the day in our designated picnic areas.
Activities
There will be a mix of free and paid activities suitable for babies, toddlers, and their families.
Enjoy live stage entertainment, free-flow play, interactive sessions, and informative talks throughout the day.

CORE AQUATICS
An multi award winning, inclusive swim school based in Nottinghamshire for children and adults.
Core Aquatics are a multi award winning, inclusive swim school who provide high quality swimming lessons to children (3+) and adults. We provide small groups, one to one and two to one lessons for all abilities. Once swimmers are advanced, we can continue their journey through our Junior Lifeguard Academy where swimmers can learn other skills such as CPR, first aid, distance swimming, pool snorkelling and more.
Core Aquatics are an inclusive swim school and we have partnerships with Level Water and Autism Swim, one for partially subsidising lessons for swimmers with other abilities or who provide training for swimming teachers respectively. We have proudly maintained our Autism Swim Approved status for the last 4 years and are ‘Gold’.
